Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Tattoo Inkprep ("Inkprep", "we") processes personal data when you use our mobile app and this website. The data controller is Guillermo Andújar Martínez (Spain, EU). For any privacy request, contact tattooinkprep@gmail.com.

1. Data we collect

• Account data: when you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your email address and a basic account identifier.
• Designs you upload: the digital design images you add to a project in order to receive ink recommendations.
• Usage & project data: the projects you create, your saved palettes, favorites and in-app preferences.
• Subscription data: your subscription status and purchase identifiers, handled through the app stores and RevenueCat. We never receive or store your full payment-card details.
• In-app analytics: usage events (such as screens viewed and features used) tied to an anonymous identifier, collected through PostHog to understand how the app is used.
• Website analytics: if you consent, anonymous, aggregated usage statistics (see "Analytics" below).

2. Why we use it and legal basis

• To provide the service (analyze your designs, return ink recommendations, save your projects): performance of a contract.
• To manage your account and subscription: performance of a contract.
• To improve and secure the service (including in-app analytics): our legitimate interest.
• Website analytics: your consent.

3. Processors and third parties

We rely on the following providers, who process data on our behalf under data processing agreements:

• Supabase: authentication, database and storage of uploaded design images.
• RevenueCat: subscription management.
• PostHog: in-app product analytics.
• Apple / Google: sign-in and payment processing through their stores.

We do not sell your personal data.

4. Where your data is stored

Your account data, project data and uploaded designs are stored on our providers' infrastructure in Zurich, Switzerland. Switzerland is recognised by the European Union as providing an adequate level of data protection, so transfers of personal data from the EU/EEA are permitted on that basis.

5. Retention

We keep your account, projects and designs for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account (available in the app), your personal data and uploaded designs are deleted, except where we must retain limited records to comply with legal obligations.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and port your data, and to object to certain processing. You can delete your account and associated data directly from the app, or by contacting us. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority (in Spain, the AEPD).

7. Children

Inkprep is a professional tool intended for adults and is not directed to children.

8. Analytics

Inside the app we use PostHog, a third-party product-analytics provider, to collect usage events (for example, which screens you open and which features you use) linked to an anonymous identifier. We use this only to understand how Inkprep is used and to improve it. We do not sell this data and do not use it for advertising or cross-app tracking.

This website uses analytics only after you accept it in the consent banner. If you decline, no analytics or tracking is loaded. See the banner controls to change your choice at any time.

We may update this policy; the "last updated" date above reflects the latest version.
